Today was a day of many firsts; first time back to the zoo in years, finished my first good painting, and got my first driving ticket. On my way home from getting my permit renewed, my dad gave me the keys so I could drive home. My gut was shouting at me, telling me that I had enough exitment for one night, but something else told me to do it. So I ended up driving and everything was going good, just like the rest of the day, then I hear my dad and brother shouting at me, then "Bam", I hit another car. Luckily, no one was severly injured, but I really got shooken up from that insident. I was shaking for at least an hour after that. I am thankfull that my family was able to comfert me out of that state, but now that it's over, I can think of two ways I could've avoided this all together. Still, I can see some good out of this; finally cleaned out the truck and the '65 will finally be fixed up again. So I got in my first wreck where I was the driver, get to go to court in a month, and have this day to remember for the rest of my life, but the best thing of all is that I, and everyone else involved, still have a rest of life to live, and for that, I'll thank my lucky stars every night I can.
